Malik Jaliwa was born July 20, 1986 in Panorama City, California. He currently works with the CCHN Fatherhood Study as well as the Community Dialogue meetings. He graduated from Foshay Learning Center, Academy of Finance, in 2004. His first two collegiate years were spent at Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana He is a senior at California State University Dominguez Hills and majoring in Marketing with a minor in Management and Human Resources. He is the son of Kupaji and Hekima Jaliwa, with two brothers, Daniel Reed and Chaka Jaliwa, and one sister, Shalanda Miller.
